An absolutely stunning Feature Pot, making a beautiful statement in any house or garden. Handmade on the Northern Coast of the Sea of Crete. Originally made to store olives.
Complete with the Cretan maker’s mark stamped on the outside of the pot.
Approximately 80 to 100 years old. In excellent condition with no cracks or chips.
This pot can be used inside the house or in the garden as it is Frost Proof.
We have gently cleaned the inside and outside of the pot, being careful to preserve the original antique patina. We have given it 2 coats of natural oil (a special blend of hazel oil, soy bean oil and sunflower oil) to give the pot a rich, soft sheen and to accentuate the patina.
